First Heidelberg Literature Autumn

The first Heidelberg, “Literature Autumn” will take place from 18th to 20th September under the motto, “Live reading.” The literature festival will bring town, reader and literature together for open, communicative and uncomplicated exchanges.
The entire Heidelberg, “old town” will serve as the backdrop for literature to be played out in all of its diverse forms. School pupils, students, theatre groups, tour leaders, authors, publishers, photographers and musicians will contribute to a three-day long festival, coordinated by the Heidelberger Literaturnetz e. V.
The programme includes events for different age groups: readings for children, the reading of a crime novel, literary performances and walks, a quality-slam as well as a book show organised by Heidelberg publishers.
