The anniversary exhibition “80 Years of Encounters” brings 80 years of eventful DAI history to life throughout the building.

The Wall of History, Wall of Fame, Listening Table, photographs, film documents, fascinating contemporary accounts, and objects from the DAI archive showcase eight decades of the DAI Heidelberg’s

of cultural and social encounters, spanning the arc from the “Amerikahaus für Jedermann” to the “Haus der Kultur.” It also highlights how relevant many of the themes that have shaped and continue to shape our work remain today. Admission is free.
