Interns (f/m/d) in the field of press and public relations Interns (f/m/d) in the area of press and Public Relations The German-American Institute (DAI) Heidelberg is a non-profit cultural institution that provides information about social, political and cultural events on both sides of the Atlantic. This work includes individual lectures, lecture series, seminars, discussions in both German and English, concerts, films and exhibitions. In addition, the DAI offers a wide range of educational opportunities, including a language school, a public English-language library, several international kindergartens, an international school and a language support project for schoolchildren. For our PR office we are regularly looking for interns (f/m/d) throughout the year to support us for three months. Activities Cross-event collaboration in the PR department Preparation of texts, invitation letters, presentations, etc. Planning, organizing and implementing individual PR activities Research on current projects, mailing list and database maintenance, web mailings and other promotional activities in the PR day-to-day business Co-managing the online/social media channels of the company Assistance at events in the evenings as well as on weekends (bar, admissions, etc.) Profile: Great interest in culture (lectures, readings, concerts, etc.) Fluency in spoken and written German and a very confident command of the German language Very good knowledge of English Confident handling of all common office programs Independent, reliable way of working Communicative, open-minded, motivated, self-initiated, team player, creative We offer varied and challenging activities in a pleasant, open working atmosphere with a dynamic and motivated team.
