Yoga in the Library – Morning Cup of Yoga

Hit the mat instead of the snooze button and begin your day with a cup of mindful yoga.
The class consists of meditation and breathing exercises, playful stretches, and slow flow or yoga dance sequences. It ends with restorative yoga and a long, deep relaxation.
It is suitable for beginning and intermediate practitioners, as modifications are offered for different needs.
About the teacher:
Sharon Holton-Schmitt is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin/USA, and has been practicing a combination of reiki, yoga, and meditation for over ten years. In 2017, Sharon completed a Yin Yoga teacher training course in the Netherlands. In 2018, she received her 200-hour yoga certification focused on Buddhist mindfulness principles. In 2019, she received another 200-hour yoga certification in Kerala, India, based on traditional yoga methodologies.
Please bring your own yoga mat (camping mats are not suitable), a cushion, and a shawl for the meditation period. Please register ahead of time.
