Jonathan Seidman is a New York/New Jersey artist from a generation that emerged from 1980″s style influences. He attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale Florida and received a degree in Advertising Design. There, he absorbed the acute methods given to design as he developed concepts that would subsequently refine his own visual and conceptual vocabulary. These methods signify his work through interpretations that fall amongst the intersections of Color Concepts, Abstractism, Spatial Analysis and Cartooning. In addition, Seidman attended the New York University “New School” Fine Studio Program where he developed skills in 3d Animation and 3d Mirage.
Jonathan Seidman’s work has been seen in exhibitions worldwide. His works can be found in private and public collections in the United States, Japan, and Europe. In 2013, the Kurpfälzische Museum in Heidelberg Germany acquired one of Seidman’s major works. He currently lives in Neckargemünd, Germany.
