Classics Book Club – The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls

DAI - Bibliothek

  • Literatur, Social Activity

You know the big pile of books you’ve “always wanted to read” waiting for you on the bedside table? The DAI Classics Book Club offers an opportunity to tackle that pile! A buoyant group of literature lovers indulges into works of the literary canon, accompanied by drinks and snacks. The books to be discussed in spring are modern classics that reflect issues pertaining to racism and identity. If you don’t have the time to read the book entirely before the meeting – don’t worry. The book club members will always read one or two passages together.

Pia Fichtner-Siegel, a former English and German teacher at the Internationale Gesamtschule Heidelberg (IGH) facilitates the Classics Book Club with much verve and joy in sharing literature. Please register in advance.
