Lena Zier From Elmshorn, Germany When I was 16, I was an exchange-student in Pittsburgh, PA and stayed with an American host family that had four little girls. Since I was the youngest of three children in my German family, I loved being the older sister. After my graduation, I decided to study teaching in Regensburg. During this time, I taught at different schools in Bavaria as an intern and worked at a youth education center where I became a social-skills and class-cooperation trainer for children between the age of 8 and 17. In my opinion, every child should be given a chance and be able to cope with the challenges of everyday life, without breaking or becoming dulled by them. My goal is to keep the curiosity of children alive by introducing different ways of learning and playing. Apart from working with children, I enjoy swimming, hiking, and skiing. However, my favourite hobby is reading books, which I do every day. Zurück zur Übersicht
