Are you a literature lover or an aspiring writer? Are you looking for a way to brush up on your English language skills to connect with other English speakers? If so, then the Book Club is the thing for you. The book club meets once a month at the DAI library. Please check the website for dates and times.

The fall book club season will explore literary interpretations of ‟otherness“ through a British perspective. The season begins with William Shakespeare’s classic 16th century work The Tempest. In November ‟otherness“ is approached through Jean Rhys‘ Wide Saragasso Sea which explores madness. December concludes the fall season with Kazuo Ishiguro‘s The Remains of the Day, a Booker Prize winner that looks at one man‘s journey to understand his place in a rapidly changing society. Join us to discuss these classic readings that are sure to provoke and stimulate your love of literature.
